We are The DeSotos, and we are the co-founders of Balanced Bayou, a Louisiana-based wellness marketplace dedicated to offering farm to table, natural pantry items, holistic remedies, non-toxic household essentials, resources, news and more. Our mission, “Natively Nourished. Balanced for Life.” is rooted in bridging traditional wellness practices with modern clean living.

We’re a family of four, and for the last 15 years, health and wellness have been at the heart of how we live, love, and raise our children. Over the past 5 years, our path has deepened as we’ve taken a more intentional dive into holistic healing, not only for ourselves but for our children as well.
